About chole bhatoore Recipe

Ingredients to make chole bhatoore

  • for chole
  • chick pea 250 gm
  • dried pomegranate seeds 20 gm (soaked )
  • onian 2
  • tomato 2
  • ginger 1 inch
  • chole masala 2 tbsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tspn
  • bay leaf 1
  • salt
  • oil 6 tbsp
  • for bhatura
  • all purpose flour 350 gm
  • baking powder 1 tspn
  • baking soda 1 tspn
  • curd 50 ml
  • pinch of sugar
  • salt
  • oil 3 tbsp

How to make chole bhatoore

  1. soak chick pea overnight
  2. wash and pressure Cook in salt water along with tea bag and pinch of baking soda
  3. now add oil in cooker add bay leaf
  4. make paste of onion and ginger
  5. add in the oil in cooker cook for 5 minuets
  6. grind tomatoes . add in cooker cook for 3 minuets
  7. add dry spices salt and cooked chick pea
  8. grind pomegranate seeds with water . drain it’s water and add in to chick pea.
  9. cook for 3 minuets. add water and again pressure cook till 2 whistles
  10. in a mixing bawl add flour add baking soda and baking powder. salt sugar curd and oil mix well
  11. add water in batches. make a dough
  12. let it rest for 15 minuets. make out small balls roll and deep fry
