About Butter Chicken Recipe

This dish also known as Butter Chicken Makhni. It is a Delicious Indian dish.

Butter Chicken

Ingredients to make Butter Chicken

  • 1kg chicken
  • For the Marinade:-
  • 1½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • salt as required
  • 200 gm curd
  • For the Gravy:-
  • 1/2 tsp kasoori methi
  • 200 Gram butter
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 400 gm tomato, puree
  • 1/2 tsp Black cumin
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • To taste salt
  • 4 green chillies, slices
  • 100 Gram Fresh cream

How to make Butter Chicken

  1. For Marination- In a mixing bowl, mix red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt and curd.
  2. Add the raw chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well. Keep it in the refrigerator overnight or minimum 3 hours.
  3. Roast the marinated chicken in a tandoor or an oven for about 10-12 minutes Or you can fry with little oil in a kadai.
  4. Now let's prepared
  5. Take a pan, heat butter in low temperature. Add tomato puree and saute for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add cumin salt, cumin seeds , little suger as required, and Kashmiri Red chilli powder. Mix it nicely.
  7. Add the prepared tandoor chicken mix it well,
  8. Then add fresh cream, 2 slice green chilies and crushed methi leaves , mix it 4-5 minutes then left for chicken cook, cook till the chicken perfectly cook.
  9. Now you can Garnish with fresh cream dropped.
