About Katahal ki Gravy Wali Sabzi Recipe

I have learnt this recipe by my maternal aunty and just try it with rice or bread and you will love it.

Katahal ki Gravy Wali Sabzi

Ingredients to make Katahal ki Gravy Wali Sabzi

  • For Katahal Ki Sabzi Ingredients as below
  • Katahal (Jackfruit) 1/2 kg
  • Three midium size onion
  • Green chilli 4 pieces
  • Corriander leaves for garnishing
  • Oil for frying Katahal and onion
  • Turmaric 1/2tsp
  • Red chiily powder 1/2 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste 2tsp
  • Garm masala 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • water as required for gravy

How to make Katahal ki Gravy Wali Sabzi

  1. Firstly wash and cuts Katahal in square shapes and chopped Onions, Green chilies, Coriander leaves .
  2. Fry Katahal till its turn golden in colour.
  3. Now put some mustard oil in pan and fry green chills & onion till golden and crispy.
  4. Add Ginger,Garlic,Turmeric Powder,Red Chilli Powder,Gram Masala,Salt as per taste and Cook for 10 min.
  5. Then add the Katahal pieces and And toss well and stir water for cooking well for 20 minutes.
  6. Now garnish your Katahal Ki Sabzi with Coriander leaves and serve hot.

My Tip:

Always try to use Mustard Oil instead other cooking oils because its very good for health as well as make your recipes more tasty.
