Fruit Custard

Ingredients to make Fruit Custard

  • Vanilla custard powder 2-3 tbsp
  • sugar 4 tbsp or as per taste
  • Milk 2 1/2 cups
  • Mixed fruit like apple, banana, pomegranate, grapes and mangoes 2 cups
  • Red and green tutti fruitty for garnishing

How to make Fruit Custard

  1. Cut fruits into same-sized small pieces
  2. Mix custard powder and ½ cup of milk in a bowl. Make sure no lumps are formed.
  3. Now take remaining 2 cups of milk with sugar in a heavy bottom pan on medium heat and bring it to a boil.
  4. Once it starts boiling, add prepared custard milk mixture and keep stirring to avoid lumps formation.
  5. Cook for 4-5 minutes or till it thickens. Then turn off the stove.
  6. Remove it in a bowl. Bring it to room temperature, add fruits and then refrigerate it.
  7. Chill the custard for a few hours and then garnish it with red and green tutti fruity and pomegranate. It is now ready to be served.
