Sooji halwa

Ingredients to make Sooji halwa

  • 1 cup sooji
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup ghee
  • 3 cup water
  • 10-12 almond
  • 1/4 cup kishmish

How to make Sooji halwa

  1. First take ghee in the kadai and melt it.
  2. Add sooji and stir till it becomes golden brown on medium to low flame.
  3. Add water slowly in intervals and stir well.
  4. Add grated almond and kishmish.
  5. Now add sugar at top before the water is fully absorbed in the sooji.
  6. Stir well till the sugar is fully absorbed on low flame.
  7. Switch off the flame and now take it on the serving tray and add grated almond on top.Happy cooking!!!!

My Tip:

Proportion of everything should be accurate otherwise it wont becomes soft.
