Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1cup black urad lentil
  2. 1/2 cup chana lentil
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 2 tomatoes boiled and puree
  5. 1/2 milk
  6. 1tsp kashmiri chilli powder.
  7. 1tsp garam masala
  8. 2-3 cardamom
  9. 3-4 cloves
  10. 2 taj patta
  11. 1tsp fresh corriander chopped
  12. A pinch of hing
  13. 1 green chilli
  14. 1tsp turmeric
  15. 1 onion chopped
  16. 1tsp ginger garlic paste

Instructions

  1. Boil lentil in water with salt and turmeric
  2. Now heat oil in another pan add ginger garlic paste, cumin, cloves cardamom, tej patta, and onions
  3. Now add tomatoe puree and saute for a mint.
  4. Add garam masala, corriander chopped, and lentils
  5. Now cook for a while and add milk and switch off the gas
  6. NO Butter makhani dal ready
