Moong daal halva is a prime sweet of rajasthan.on marriages ,festivals and in winter season alongwith mauth daal bara people like to have moong daal halva very much

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup yellow moong daal
  2. 6-7 saffron sprigs
  3. 1 tsp lukewarm milk
  4. 6 tsp ghee
  5. 1.5 cup sugar (can less or more as per taste)
  6. 1 tsp cardmon powder
  7. For Garnish---
  8. Badam, pista and saffron

Instructions

  1. Blend soaked moong daal
  2. Soak saffron in milk
  3. Heat ghee in pan
  4. Add daal and cook till golden in colour
  5. When it change it's colour add 1 cup of warm water
  6. Stir it continiously
  7. Add sugar and stir till it dissolve
  8. Add saffron and varnon powder
  9. Garnish with chop badam pista
