About Bhatoore-Chhole Recipe

Bhatoore-Chhole

Ingredients to make Bhatoore-Chhole

  • Maida (all purpose flour) 150g
  • salt to taste or 1-2pinches
  • Refined oil 500ml
  • Suji 2tsp
  • sugar 2tsp
  • curd hung 100g

How to make Bhatoore-Chhole

  1. Seive maida. Add suji, sugar, salt to curd and mix well.
  2. Add curd to maida, mix well, knead into dough by adding little water.
  3. Grease palms with some oil. Smoothen the dough with hands.
  4. Cover with moist cloth. Leave aside for two to three hours.
  5. Heat refined oil in kadhai.
  6. Make small balls out of the dough, about 6 from the above mixed amount.
  7. Press balls into circular bhatoore by rolling pin.
  8. Fry the bhatoore till light golden brown.
  9. Serve hot with spicy-tangy chickpeas/chhole...
