ABOUT Tandoori Gobhi RECIPE

A lip smacking and authentic Tandoori flavored Gobhi - WITHOUT using Tandoor - Yet having Tandoor cooked aroma and taste. Make this restaurant style appetizer at your home with our very easy to make recipe & a little trick, and enjoy this wonderful dish :)

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cauliflower (Gobhi) - Cut into Florets - 1 pc
  2. Thick curd - 1/3 cup
  3. Tandoori Masala - 2 Tbsp
  4. Red Chilli Powder - ¼ Tsp
  5. Amchoor Powder - ½ Tsp
  6. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  7. ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  8. Roasted Cumin Powder-½ Tsp
  9. Cooking Oil - 1 Tbsp + 2 Tbsp
  10. Salt - to taste
  11. Skewers - 4

Instructions

  1. Heat water in a vessel. Add Cauliflower florets. Cook for 4 minutes on high flame. Switch off the flame.
  2. Let it rest in water for 5 minutes. Strain the water. Spread on a cloth to get rid of the excess water.
  3. Take Curd in a bowl.
  4. Add Tandoori Masala, Dhania, Chilli Powder, Amchoor, Cumin & Salt. Mix everything.
  5. Add Ginger Garlic Paste & 1 Tbsp Oil. Mix.
  6. Add Florets. Mix so that each floret is coated well.
  7. Cover the bowl & keep in fridge for 2 hours.
  8. After 2 hours, take out the bowl, mix everything again.
  9. Add 2 Tbsp Oil to a non-stick pan. Add florets.Cook for 5 minute.
  10. Flip it.Cook for 12-14 minute.
  11. Keep on turning & tossing in between.Switch off when done
  12. Wash the skewers so that they do not catch fire.
  13. Put Florets on skewers. Roast on gas flame for few seconds to give it burnt tandoori flavour.
  14. Serve Hot with crunchy Salad.
