About Boondi Kadhi Recipe

Boondi kadhi is very delicious food for lunch. Serve hot with rice or chapati. Easy to make and super delicious.

Boondi Kadhi

Ingredients to make Boondi Kadhi

  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 2 glass butter milk
  • 1 cup boondi
  • salt to taste
  • ghee 2 tbsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • methi dana 1/2 tsp
  • asafoetida 1/4 tsp
  • Dry red chilli 2

How to make Boondi Kadhi

  1. IN A MIXING BOWL ADD 1 CUP GRAM FLOUR, 2 GLASS OF BUTTER MILK.
  2. MIX WELL WITH BLENDER, KEEP ASIDE.
  3. RED DRY CHILLI, CUMIN, METHI, MUSTARD SEEDS, ASAFOETIDA, RED CHILLI POWDER, TURMERIC POWDER SALT TO TASTE, KEEP ASIDE.
  4. IN A PAN HEAT 2 TBSP GHEE, ADD 1/2 TSP CUMIN, 1/2 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS, 1/2 TSP METHI SEEDS
  5. ADD 2 DRY CHILLIES, 1/4 TSP ASAFOETIDA, 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER.
  6. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, GRAM FLOUR + BUTTER MILK MIXTURE .
  7. STIR CONTINUOUSLY.
  8. ADD 2 GLASS OF WATER, STIR WELL.
  9. ADD SALT TO TASTE. COOK IN MEDIUM LOW FLAME FOR 10 MINUTES.
  10. STIR CONTINUOUSLY.
  11. CONSISTENCY SHOULD BE LIKE THIS.
  12. NOW ADD 1 CUP BOONDI.
  13. COOK MORE 2-3 MINUTES. NOW OFF THE HEAT.
  14. IN A TADKA PAN HEAT 2 TBSP GHEE, ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, MIX WELL.
  15. GARNISH WITH TADKA.
  16. SERVE HOT BOONDI KADHI.
