Daal tadka

Ingredients to make Daal tadka

  • Moong daal 1/2 cup
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder 1/2 spoon
  • red chilly powder 1 spoon
  • chana daal 1/4 cup
  • green chilly chopped 2
  • garlic paste 1 spoon
  • ginger paste 1/2 spoon
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 spoon
  • oil 2 spoon
  • ghee 1 spoon
  • cumin seeds 1/2 spoon
  • mustard seeds 1/2 spoon
  • asafoetida a pinch

How to make Daal tadka

  1. Take a daal .boil it
  2. Then take a pan add oil and cumin seeds,mustard seeds, Asafoetida
  3. Then add ginger, garlic and chilly paste
  4. Then add daal mix well
  5. Then add salt and Garam masala
  6. Stirring it well so masala dissolved in it
  7. Then serve hot

My Tip:

Serve with rice
