About Mirch ka salan Recipe

Hyderabadi mirch ka salan recipe is slightly tangy,creamy and spicy. It goes well with biryani.

Ingredients to make Mirch ka salan

  • Baggi mirchi(salanmirchi). 10
  • peanuts. 5 tbsp
  • til. 3tbsp
  • turmeric. 1 tsp
  • tamarind pulp. 3tbsp
  • red chilli powder. 3tsp
  • cumin powder. 1tbsp
  • coriander powder. 2 tbsp.
  • onions. 1 medium
  • Giger garlic paste. 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste.
  • Garam masala. 1 tbsp
  • oil. 6 tbsp
  • Dry coconut pieces 5 tbsp
  • Greeen chillies. 2
  • dhania powder.

How to make Mirch ka salan

  1. Dry roast the sesame seeds,peanuts,dry coconut separately.
  2. Make a fine paste above roasted ingredients.
  3. Heat a pan along with oil, fry the salan mirchi and keep a side.
  4. In the same oil add chopped onions, slitted green chilli and fry till the onions become transculant.
  5. Add ginger,garlic paste and saute for 3-4 min.
  6. Add turmeric,red chilli powder,cumin powder,coriander powder and mix well.
  7. Add roasted paste and cook for 15 min.
  8. Add tamarind pulp and cook for 10 min.
  9. Add salt,then fried baggi Mirchi before removing from flame.
  10. Add garam masala.
