About Mango Kesari Recipe

When in summers, mango is best fruit to be part of regular dessert, easy and simple to make, mango kesari is delicious in taste

Mango Kesari

Ingredients to make Mango Kesari

  • Rava / semolina – 1/2 cup
  • sugar – 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup
  • water – 1 cup
  • ghee – 1/3 cup
  • Ripe Mangoes – 2 peeled and cubed
  • cashews – 10

How to make Mango Kesari

  1. Blend mangoes and sugar to form smooth puree
  2. Heat ghee in a kadai, add in cashews and fry till golden. Now add in sooji and roast it on low heat for 3 to 4 mins until aromatic
  3. Once it is roasted, add in water and mix well. Cook till it thickens
  4. Now add in mango puree and mix well. Cook for few mins, it should be slightly runny. Once it is at that stage, turn off the heat and let it cool down. Serve
