About Achari Paneer Masala Recipe

Achari Paneer Masala

Ingredients to make Achari Paneer Masala

  • 200 g paneer cubes
  • Ground spices
  • 1/8 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1/8 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Nigella seeds
  • 1 big tomato roughly chopped
  • 3/4 cup beaten curd
  • 1/2 tsp besan ( optional)
  • 5-6 cashews
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/8 tsp hing
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp crushed ginger and green chillies
  • 1/4 tsp crushed kasuri methi
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • salt to taste

How to make Achari Paneer Masala

  1. INGREDIENTS
  2. DRY ROAST WHOLE SPICES
  3. ALLOW TO COOL FOR 3-4 MINUTES
  4. MEANWHILE GRIND CASHEWS AND TOMATOES TO PUREE
  5. GRIND DRY SPICES COARSELY
  6. HEAT OIL, ADD HING, CRUSHED GINGER CHILLI AND TOMATO PUREE
  7. SAUTE UNTIL IT STARTS LEAVING SIDES
  8. ADD SPICE POWDERS
  9. ADD GROUND MASALA AND MIX WELL FOR FEW SECONDS
  10. LOWER HEAT, ADD BESAN, CURD AND SALT
  11. MIX WELL AND COOK FOR A MINUTE
  12. ADD PANEER CUBES AND GENTLY MIX
  13. COVER AND COOK FOR 3-4 MINUTES
  14. ADD KASURI METHI
  15. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES AND MIX WELL
  16. SERVE HOT WITH ROTI, PURIS OR NAAN
