About Pyazoo. Recipe

Very popular snack made from chickpea flour with lot of sliced onion.

Pyazoo.

Ingredients to make Pyazoo.

  • chick pea flour(besan) 1cup
  • Thinly sliced onions 3
  • Chopped green chillies 4
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1/2cup
  • Red chillu powder 1table spoon
  • turmeric powder 1tea spoon
  • Carom (ajwain)seeds 1tea spoon
  • amchur powder 1tea spoon
  • salt 1 1/2tea spoon
  • soda bi carb 1/4tea spoon
  • butter 1table spoon
  • oil 2cups for frying

How to make Pyazoo.

  1. Slice onion thinly and mash by hand.
  2. Add all the ingredients
  3. Add some water and mix well to make the mixture into dropping consistency.
  4. Heat oil in akadahi/pan
  5. Make dumpling /pakore and fry on medium flame till golden
  6. Serve with sauce/chutneu of your choice.

My Tip:

Adding butter to the mixture will give more crispy pyazoo.
