About Mango Phirni Recipe

Mango phirni recipe is a delicious creamy indian pudding made with sweet mangoes, rice and milk.

Mango Phirni

Ingredients to make Mango Phirni

  • Milk 4 cups
  • Basmati rice 4 tbsp
  • Mangoe cubes 2 cups
  • sugar 1/2 cup ( if need more sugar then add it)
  • Sliced almonds and mangoes

How to make Mango Phirni

  1. Soak rice in water for half an hour
  2. Drain and grind to a coats paste
  3. Dilute rice paste with 1/2 cup of water
  4. All mango cubes make puree
  5. Heat milk and bring it to a boil. Gradually stir in the rice paste, simmer the heat
  6. Stirring continuously or until the milk thickens well
  7. Add sugar and continue to simmer till sugar dissolves
  8. Remove from heat, cool to room temperature and stir in mango pulp
  9. Pour this mixture into individual earthenware bowl, garnish with almonds and mango slices
  10. Then served chilled
