ABOUT Caramalised Apple ice cream RECIPE

The lovely flavour of apples and cinnamon together with the caramel , makes this ice cream bursting with tasty flavours in each bite.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup chopped apples
  2. 2 tbsp butter
  3. 1/4 cup brown sugar
  4. 1 tbsp sugar
  5. 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  6. 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  7. 1/2 cup condensed milk
  8. 200 ml cream

Instructions

  1. In a pan take butter, brown and white sugars, chopped apples, vanilla essence and cinnamon powder and cook them on low heat.
  2. Till the apples turn soft, around 7-8 mins, stir and cook the mixture.
  3. The butter and sugar will form a caramel and apples get cooked and soft in the mix.
  4. Keep it aside to cool.
  5. Meanwhile ,whip the cream in a cold ice bath till soft peaks.
  6. Add condensed milk to the cooled Apple mix.
  7. Fold this Apple mix in the cream slowly till incorporated.
  8. Put the mix in an airtight container and freeze for 5-6 hours or till done.
  9. Scoop out the ice cream and sprinkle brown sugar before serving.
