Kalakand

Ingredients to make Kalakand

  • 1/2tin milkmaid(200gm)
  • 1tbsp milk powder
  • 250gm paneer
  • 3-4green cardamom-powderd
  • 2-3 pistachios-blanched and roughly chooped(optinal)

How to make Kalakand

  1. Mash paneer coarsely and mix milk powder and milkmaid.
  2. Heat the mixture in a heavy bottom pan.cook on medium heat stirring constantly till it comes to a boil,cook till the mixture starta leaves the sides of the pan.
  3. Remove from the fire and spread onto a greased tray.
  4. Sprinkle elaichi powder and top with pista.
  5. Cool and cut in to squars.
