ABOUT Paneer tikka masala RECIPE

A simple to cook dish but very flavourful.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oil 4 tbsp
  2. Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  3. Asafoetida 1 pinch
  4. Ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp
  5. Finally chopped onion 1/2 cup
  6. All purpose flour 1 tsp
  7. Fresh tomato puree 3/4 cup
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Deggi mirch 1 tsp
  10. Coriander pwd 1 tbsp
  11. Cumin pwd 1/2 tsp
  12. Garam masala 1 tsp
  13. Thick curd 2 tbsp
  14. Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  15. Kasoori Methi 1 tsp
  16. Chopped capsicum ( cubes ) 2
  17. Paneer cubes 300 gm
  18. Onion in cubes 1
  19. Fresh cream 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. First cut all the vegetables and paneer in cubes and keep aside.
  2. Take a bowl, add thick curd, red chilli powder,salt, kasoori methi powder, ginger-garlic paste, a little oil and add all the vegetables and paneer. Mix it all well together.
  3. In a non-stick pan, add 1 table spoon of oil ,then add the marinated paneer and vegetables. Cook on both the sides, once it's done keep aside.
  4. Take a pan and add oil, cumin seeds, onion chopped, pinch of salt, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste, all purpose flour, mix and cook for 3 mins. Now add tomato puree, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, mix it well and let it cook till the oil separates.
  5. Once it is done, add water as needed, bring it to boil, then add the cooked paneer and vegetables, garam masala powder, cream as needed and cook for 3 mins.
  6. Finish it off with coriander leaves and serve.
