Mini Urad Dal Bondas

Ingredients to make Mini Urad Dal Bondas

  • White urad dal 1 cup soaked for 3 hours
  • Medium onion 1 finely chopped
  • hing 1/4 teaspoon
  • ginger paste 1/4 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • Whole pepper 1 teaspoon ( adjust spice )
  • Chopped curry leaves 5
  • Little water to grind dal paste .

How to make Mini Urad Dal Bondas

  1. Soak 1 cup urad Dal for 3 hours . Grind to a coarse thick paste . Add finely chopped onion, salt , ginger paste ,
  2. pepper corns , hing , curry leaves . Gently Mix. 1 teaspoon batter . Drop into hot oil . Deep fry
  3. Fry in medium heat flipping both the sides . Hot mini urad Dal bondas are ready .

My Tip:

Don’t add too much water while grinding the bonda batter . Grind little coarsely for crunchy bondas . Drop bondas into hot oil and reduce the flame to medium for even cooking . Bondas will cook inside and outside perfectly in medium flame .
