Ingredients to make Curry leaves Pepper Mushrooms ( Dry )

  • Button mushrooms 250 grams
  • Big sized onion 1 finely chopped
  • Dry roasting ingredients :
  • Whole black pepper 2 tablespoons ( adjust spice level )
  • Dry curry leaves 15
  • cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Other Ingredients:
  • oil 1 tablespoon
  • ginger garlic paste 1/4 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Curry powder 1/4 teaspoon

How to make Curry leaves Pepper Mushrooms ( Dry )

  1. Dry roast whole pepper , cumin seeds , dry curry leaves till aroma is released . Curry leaves should easily be crushed within our palms . Tats the consistency. Remove from the heat . Cool and grind to
  2. a smooth powder . Keep aside. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok . Add chopped onions . Sauté till
  3. Translucent . Add 1/4 teaspoon ginger garlic paste. Sauté till raw smell leaves .
  4. Add the chopped mushrooms 250 grams .Sauté for 2 minutes . Add salt , 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  5. Add 1/4 teaspoon curry powder , ground curry leaf powder . Cover and cook for 2 more minutes .
  6. Mushroom releases it’s own juices so needn’t add water . Once the mushrooms are cooked , increase
  7. the flame to high . Toss quickly without burning the mushrooms . This step is to drain water .
  8. Curry leaves pepper mushroom is ready . This is a dry version .
