About Nankhatai Recipe

Snack with crunchiness n melt in mouth.

Nankhatai

Ingredients to make Nankhatai

  • all purpose flour 1 cup
  • almond flour 1/4 cup
  • sugar 1/2 cup
  • butter 1/2 cup + 1 tspn ghee
  • Cardamon powder 1 tspn
  • Vanilla essence a bit
  • salt 1/2 tspn
  • Baking powder 2 pinch
  • Chopped nuts almond and pistachio its optional

How to make Nankhatai

  1. Butter should be in room temperature.
  2. In a bowl take all dry ingredients and mix it.
  3. In another bowl take butter,ghee and sugar. Mix it until it comes to a paste like structure.
  4. Then add dry ingredients and mix it. It will form a dough.
  5. Then roll it as a log and keep it in fridge for 30 mins.
  6. Preheat oven at 310 degree farenhiet.
  7. After 30 mins remove and make round balls. Place it over a parchment paper and garnish with chopped nuts.
  8. Bake for 25 mins. Take out after time complete and let it cool. Your yummy nankhatai is ready to serve with chivda and tea.
