Ingredients to make Gobi manchuria

  • For marination :
  • cauliflower florets - 1 cup
  • egg - 1
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • cornflour - 1/2 cup
  • Orange food colour ( a pinch)
  • For the sauce :
  • Chopped ginger - 1 tsp
  • Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
  • Chopped green chillies - 1 tsp
  • Diced bell peppers - 1/4 th cup
  • Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • tomato sauce - 1 tbsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cornflour - 1 tbsp
  • Refined oil

How to make Gobi manchuria

  1. THESE ARE THE INGREDIENTS.
  2. CUT THE CAULIFLOWER INTO SMALL FLORETS (1 CUP)
  3. BREAK 1 EGG INTO A BOWL, ADD SALT AND 1 TSP OF PEPPER POWDER. WHISK
  4. WHISK WELL.
  5. ADD THE FOOD COLOUR, 1 TSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE AND CORNFLOUR. WHISK WELL SO THAT THERE ARE NO LUMPS.
  6. ADD THE CAULIFLOWER FLORETS INTO THE MIXTURE. MARINATE FOR 1 HOUR.
  7. DEEP FRY THE FLORETS IN HOT OIL.
  8. DEEP FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN AND CRISP.
  9. HEAT SOME OIL IN ANOTHER PAN, ADD CHOPPED GARLIC, GINGER AND GREEN CHILLIES.
  10. ONCE THEY SMELL, ADD DICED BELL PEPPERS. STIR FRY FOR FEW SECONDS.
  11. MIX TOMATO SAUCE, SOY SAUCE, SUGAR AND SALT IN A BOWL.
  12. POUR THE SAUCE MIXTURE INTO THE PAN. MIX.
  13. NOW DISSOLVE SOME CORNFLOUR WITH SOME WATER IN A BOWL.
  14. ADD LITTLE WATER TO THE COOKING VEGGIES IN THE PAN, BRING UPTO BOIL AND THE CORNFLOUR SLURRY.
  15. THEN TOSS THE FRIED CAULIFLOWER FLORETS INTO THE SAUCE. COAT THEM WELL. SERVE HOT.
