Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Eggs- 3nos
  2. Onion- 2 nos medium size shopped roughly
  3. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  4. Ginger and garlic paste or crushed 1 tbsp
  5. Tomato- 1 roughly chopped
  6. Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
  7. Cardamom- 2 nos
  8. Black pepper- 7 to 8 kernels
  9. Fennel seeds- 1 tsp
  10. Chilly Powder- 1 tsp
  11. Kashmiri Chilly powder- 2 tsp
  12. Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
  13. Grated Coconut- 1 cup
  14. Water as required
  15. Salt as per your taste
  16. Oil
  17. Garam Masala- 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Boil Egg until it turns hard. Cut onion,tomato and set aside.
  2. Take half of the onion, cardamom,black pepper,fennel seeds,and ginger and garlic(if you are not using ginger garlic paste) grind to fine paste.
  3. Remove ground paste and set aside and now grind tomato to smooth paste and keep it ready.
  4. In the same grinder add grated coconut and water and make a fine and watery paste
  5. How heat pan and add oil add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter add sliced onion and fry until it turns light pink in color
  6. Add ground onion masala and fry until it turns brown in color, add tomato paste and fry until raw smell goes off
  7. Add coriander powder, chilly powder and turmeric powder stir well, cover with lid and cook for 5 mins
  8. Add salt and water and allow it to boil, once it starts boiling add boiled egg and allow it cook for 7-8 mins or gravy thickens
  9. Now in the last add coconut paste, reduce flame stir continously and cook for 2 mins , add garam masala and mix again
  10. Switch off the flame and serve with rice or appam.
