Ingredients to make Dahi bade

  • 1cup soaked urad daal overnight
  • 1/2inch ginger
  • Pinch of heeng
  • 2green chillies
  • chopped cashews
  • raisins
  • 1 cup curd
  • 5-6tsp imli chutney
  • Zero no.sev
  • Bhuna jeera powder
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh coriander for garnishing.
  • 1/2tsp castor sugar

How to make Dahi bade

  1. Grind dal ,heeng,ginger,salt and green chillies to a smooth paste with the help of water.
  2. Heat oil in kadai, add nuts and raisins.make small shapes n fry them till light golden. Quickly soak them in water.
  3. Beat the curd nicely . Add salt ,sugar,black pepper and soaked vadas in curd.
  4. Dip them atleast fr an hour before serving to get the best taste. Garnish with jeera powder,fresh coriander and imli chutney. Put zero number thin sev on top and serve chilled.
