How to make Strawberry panna-cotta

  1. For strawberry layers-
  2. Soak gelatin for 10 minutes with water.
  3. Then, heat the mixture until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Remove from heat.
  4. Meanwhile, in a blender, puree the strawberry with lemon juice and sugar.
  5. Strain the puree.
  6. Add gelatine mixture and mix well.
  7. Prepare 6 individual serving glasses and place them in a mini muffin pan at an angle.
  8. Carefully pour the strawberry mixture into each glass until almost to the edge of each glass.  Reserve remaining strawberry mixture.
  9. Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  10. When the strawberry layer is set, tilt the serving glasses 90 degree to the opposite side in the muffin pan.
  11. Pour in remaining strawberry mixture and return back to the fridge to set, about one to two hours.
  12. Vanilla layer-
  13. Soak gelatin for 10 minutes.
  14. Heat milk and cream in a saucepan.
  15. Add soaked gelatin and cook for few mins on low heat.
  16. Add sugar. Stir and heat until gelatin completely dissolved.
  17. Remove from heat and add vanilla essence.
  18. Assemble -
  19. Take the individual glasses out of the fridge with the strawberry layers already set.
  20. Then, pour the vanilla mixture into each glass until almost filled to the top.
  21. Return to the refrigerator to chill for another 2 hours, or until set.
  22. To serve, garnish the top each cup with a few fresh strawberries and a spring of mint. Enjoy!

My Tip:

You can use agar agar instead of gelatine.
