About Mango Idly Recipe

This is a twist to the regular idlis, with the indulgence of mangoes.

Mango Idly

Ingredients to make Mango Idly

  • 1 bowl sugar
  • 1 bowl sour curd
  • 1 bowl ripe mango puree
  • 1tspn black salt
  • 1/2 tson red chilli powder
  • 2 pinch of eno fruit salt

How to make Mango Idly

  1. Take sooji in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add curd, salt and red chilli powder.
  3. Mix it very well.
  4. Now in the meanwhile boil the water in the idly steamer.
  5. Brush the moulds with oil.
  6. Now when the water gets boiling then add eno fruit salt in the batter.
  7. Mix it and pour 1 scoop of batter in the each mould.
  8. Fill all the trays.
  9. Keep it in the steamer for 15 to 20 mins.
  10. After it check them with the knife.
  11. If the knife comes out clean then it is done.
  12. Unmould all the idlis.
  13. Serve it with Imly garlic chutney.
