About Mango & Jaggery Pickles Recipe

Mango & Jaggery Pickle is my one of the favourite pickle specially made by my nani(grand mother). As its time of summer and Mangoes. So, I am going to share my grand mother secret must try recipe.

Mango & Jaggery Pickles

Ingredients to make Mango & Jaggery Pickles

  • Raw Mangoes 4 medium size
  • jaggery 1 bowl
  • red chilli whole
  • Ajwain 1 small tps
  • kalonji 1 small tps
  • Pinch of salt
  • water for cooking

How to make Mango & Jaggery Pickles

  1. Peel & cut Mangoes in small size or as you like.
  2. Now put little oil in pan and add red chilli whole, Ajwain, kalonji & Mango pieces.
  3. Fry all the ingredients for few seconds after that add red red chilli powder, salt and Jaggery.
  4. Toss properly then add little water for cooking and leave for 2 or 3 minutes.
  5. Put pan aside from flame leave it for cooling. Now mango & Jaggery Pickle is ready for serving and you can enjoy it till 1 week for that store it in freeze.

My Tip:

Whenever preparing sweet pickles then add on pinch of salt that helps to pickles become more tastier and durable.
