Quick Veg Biryani

Ingredients to make Quick Veg Biryani

  • Cooked rice 4-5 cups
  • Blanched veggies
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Biriyani masala 1.5 tsp
  • curd 3 tbs
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 2 tsp pr to taste
  • mint leaves
  • coriander leaves
  • Biriyani essence 1 tsp
  • cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • cloves 4-5
  • ghee 1/4 cup

How to make Quick Veg Biryani

  1. HEAT 1/4 CUP GHEE, ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF CUMIN & CLOVES
  2. ADD 1/2 TSP PEPPERCORNS, 1.5 TSP CHOPPED GARLIC, SAUTE
  3. ADD 1 SLICED ONION, SAUTE UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  4. ADD 1.5 CUPS BLANCHED MIXED VEGGIES OF CHOICE
  5. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, 2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER
  6. ADD 1.5 TSP BIRYANI MASALA, MIX WELL
  7. ADD SALT TO TASTE, 3 TBSP CURD, SAUTE FOR 2-3 MINS ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT
  8. ADD 2 TBSP CHOPPED MINT LEAVES, MIX
  9. ADD 4-5 CUPS COOKED RICE
  10. ADD A HANDFUL OF CHOPPED MINT & CORIANDER LEAVES, MIX & SAUTE ON LOW HEAT
  11. ADD 1 TSP BIRIYANI ESSENCE, MIX WELL & TAKE OFF HEAT
