About Amla pickle Recipe

This pickle is tasty as well as healthy .agood source of vitamine C.

Amla pickle

Ingredients to make Amla pickle

  • amla 500 gram
  • mustard oil 200ml
  • Nigella seeds 1tea spoon
  • mustardseeds 2table spoon
  • fennel seeds 2table spoon
  • Red chillies 12nos
  • Carom seeds 1tea spoon
  • coriander seeds 4table spoon
  • turmeric powder 1table spoon
  • fenugreek seeds 1tea spoon
  • peppercorns 10_12
  • salt 2table spoon
  • salt 2table spoon.

How to make Amla pickle

  1. After washing ,boil amla for 2_3minutes,and drain.
  2. Spread on a plate and dry by any cloth or simply keep in sun light for 10_15 minutes
  3. Meanwhile dry roast all the spices exept nigella seeds and salt.
  4. Grind the spices.
  5. Put amla in a ceramic jar/bowl,mix all the spices,salt and nigella seeds
  6. Pour over mustard oil
  7. Tie the jar by a muslin cloth and put it in sunlight for 10 days
  8. After that pickle is ready.

My Tip:

Dry amla after boiling ,then mix spices.
