Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat flour 2 cups
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Oil 1 tbsp
  4. Warm water required for making dough
  5. For filling: Sattu 1 cup
  6. Onion - 1 medium finely chopped
  7. Mustard oil - 2 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Lemon juice 1-2 tsp
  10. nigella seeds 1/2 tsp
  11. Green chilly finely chopped 1-2
  12. Carom seeds 1 tsp
  13. Grated ginger 1 tbsp
  14. Garlic chopped 4-5 cloves
  15. Green coriander leaves chopped 1 tbsp
  16. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl take flour, put oil and salt in it and mix. With the help of warm water knead the flour. Cover the dough and keep aside for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Prepare filling in a bowl by adding all ingredients mentioned above. Now roll the poori, stuff the mixture inside and close properly. Give it shape using your palms or roll using rolling pin (kachori should be thick).
  3. Heat oil in a pan, fry all kachoris on a medium flame turning both sides till golden in colour. Serve with onion and chutney.
