Chocolate Fudge Cake

Ingredients to make Chocolate Fudge Cake

  • Chocolate chips or Semi-sweet chocolate - 1/2 cup
  • butter - 6 tbsp
  • Instant coffee powder - 1 tsp
  • all purpose flour - 1 and 1/4 cup
  • sugar - 3/4 cup
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - a pinch
  • eggs - 2 large sized (room temp)
  • Milk - 3/4 cup
  • Vanilla - 1 tsp

How to make Chocolate Fudge Cake

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees. Line an 8" pan.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter in microwave or double boiler. Set it aside to cool.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, salt and coffee.
  4. Once the chocolate mix cools, add the eggs, vanilla and beat well.
  5. Now add the dry mix and beat well on a low speed, scraping the sides. Do not over beat.
  6. Now pour in a pan and tap to remove bubbles. Bake it for 25-30 mins.

My Tip:

Top it with a chocolate ganache to get a yummy cake.
