About Chicken tikka Recipe

This is my favourite starter, spicy, charred and delicious starter for all party occasions. I have pan fried them, originally they are cooked in tandoor, or can be grilled in oven.

Chicken tikka

Ingredients to make Chicken tikka

  • Boneless chicken - 200 gm
  • yoghurt - 2 tbsp
  • ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  • red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Roasted jeera (cumin) powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Orange colour (optional)
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • salt
  • mustard oil (for marination)
  • oil/ghee to fry

How to make Chicken tikka

  1. THESE ARE THE INGREDIENTS USED.
  2. TAKE THE CHICKEN (200 GM) IN A BOWL. ADD 2 TBSP OF YOGHURT.
  3. ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTE (1 TSP), ROASTED JEERA POWDER (1 TSP), CHILLY POWDER (1 TSP).
  4. FINALLY ADD PEPPER POWDER (1 TSP), GARAM MASALA POWDER (1/2 TSP), SALT, LEMON JUICE AND ORANGE COLOUR. MIX WELL.
  5. MIX WELL AND MARINATE THIS FOR AT LEAST 3-4 HOURS.
  6. HEAT A PAN WITH LITTLE OIL. ADD THE MARINATED CHICKEN PIECES.
  7. FLIP THEM TO OTHER SIDE, ONCE THE CHICKEN IS ROASTED ON ONE SIDE. YOU CAN ALSO GRILL THEM IN OVEN.
