About Raw mango kheer Recipe

This is the recipe of a delicious desert, kheer made with the indulgence of raw mangoes. A perfect desert to be made in summer.

Ingredients to make Raw mango kheer

  • Raw(kaccha) Aam- 2 dushari or totapari
  • milk-1 litre
  • sugar -1 cup
  • khoya-1/2 cup
  • cardmon powder- 1 tbsp
  • a few saffron stand
  • some chopped pistachio. almonds and cashews
  • ALum- small piece

How to make Raw mango kheer

  1. peel the mangoes and grate with the grater. soak these grate pulp in water with a small piece of alum for 20 minutes.
  2. after 20 minutes put mango pulp in a sieve . wash pulp under the running water till all sourness gone.
  3. boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan. cook till milk reduce half of the quantity. add mango pulp. khoya. sugar and cardmon powder. cook for 10-12 minutes on low flame. add saffron stand.
  4. add chopped nuts. off the flame. when kheer cool down completely keep it in the fridge. serve chilled garnish with some chopped nuts.

My Tip:

you can use khoya or condensed milk.
