1 cup daal(leftover tadka daal)
Or
1 cup boiled daal
1 tsp oil
1 tsp jeera
Pinch of hing
2 garlic cloves
2 tbsp onion
2 tbsp tomato
1 tsp green chilli
Salt as per taste
1 tsp Red chilli powder
1/4 tsp haldi
1.5 cup rice
Coriander leaves.
For filling---
1 tsp oil
Pinch of hing
1 tsp jeera and rai
2 tbsp onion
2 tbsp tomato
1 tsp green chilli
1/2 cup paneer cubes
Coriander leaves
Salt as per taste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp haldi
1 tsp garam masala
For slurry---
2 tbsp flour
Water for as required for slurry
1 cup Bread crumb
Oil for frying
Instructions
HEAT LEFT OVER TADKA DAAL
COOK LITTLE TILL THICK
ADD RICE
SALT AND CORIANDER LEAVES
TRANSFER IN A TRAY
SPREAD AND KEEP IN FREEZE FOR 30 MIN.
HEAT AGAIN OIL IN SAME PAN
ADD JEERA HING AND ONION
ADD GARLIC AND SAUTE ADD TOMATO
GREEN CHILLI AND COOK
ADD PANEER CUBES
AND CORIANDER LEAVES
ADD SALT CHILLI POWDER AND GARAM MASALA
MIX ALL OF THEM
TAKE DAAL MIX OUT FROM FREEZE SPREAD IN PALM
FILL WITH PANEER FILLING AND COVER FROM ALL SIDES WITH DAAL MIX AND MAKE ALL BALLS LIKE THAT
OUR DAAL CHAAWAL BITES ARE READY TO FRY
MAKE A SLURRY OF FLOUR BY ADDING WATER
MIX FINELY WITHOUT LUMPS
DIP OUR BITE IN SLURRY
AND ROLL IN BREAD CRUMB
HEAT OIL AND FRY
OUR BITES ARE READY TO SERVE
SERVE WITH KACHUMBER AND CHUTNEY
