Mango kalakand is a very popular Indian desset made with chana,condensed milk and garnished with nuts.It is perfect for parties.Mango dessert is always mouth watering!

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. chana 1 cup
  2. Condensed milk 1/2 cup
  3. Khowa kheer 4 tablespoon
  4. mango pulp 1 cup
  5. cashew nut 10 pcs
  6. ghee 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take a tray and grease it with little ghee and keep it aside
  2. Heat a pan and add mango pulp and bring it to a boil.
  3. Add chana and khowa kheer to the pan and stir it well so that it gets incorporated with the mango pulp.
  4. Then add the condensed milk.Stir it well.
  5. Keep stirring till all the moisture is absorbed and the mixture turns into a single mass and stop sticking to the sides of the pan.
  6. Turn off the heat and pour the kalakand mixture to the ghee greased tray.Pat it gently on the top to make it even.
  7. Add chopped cashew nuts and again pat it once more.Set it aside for 2 hours.
  8. After 2 hours take it out of the tray,cut the kalakand into pieces.
  9. The delicious mango kalakand is now ready to serve!
