Extract orange thick juice
In a pan , add the orange juice and cook in low heat till the juice reduces to syrup consistency .
Remove from the flame .
Cool the orange syrup .
Add 2 tablespoons condensed milk to the orange syrup .
Mix and refrigerate this sweetened orange syrup .
In another deep heavy based wok , add the milk .
Allow the milk to boil .
Simmer the flame , once the milk is boiling .
Stir occasionally and reduce the milk to thick consistency . Needn’t reduce like Rabri .
At this point , add the sweetened condensed milk .
Add the saffron strands .
Add elaichi powder .
Allow to boil in high flame for few minutes for a better thick consistency .
Remove from the heat .
Cool and refrigerate for 10 minutes .
Then mix the chilled orange syrup .
Add the frozen orange chopped pieces .
Mix and refrigerate for 30 minutes .
Serve chill .
