These green looking delicious dosas include ripe avocados . While relished these dosas after soaking in honey , they taste extremely yummy :yum: Avocados are superfoods to be fed for kids . Avocados are rich in omega fatty acids . Not all children prefer eating avocados raw as a fruit . So in that case , children need varieties to at least taste the fruit . My daughter loves eating these avocado dosas soaked in honey . This recipe worked for me and so sharing this here hoping mothers here get benefitted .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Freshly fermented dosa batter 1 cup
  2. Ripe , large avocado 1
  3. Salt a pinch
  4. Cinnamon powder a pinch
  5. Honey generously
  6. Ghee 2 tablespoons


  1. In a bowl , add a cup of dosa batter .
  2. Scoop and mash the avocado . Add the mashed avocado pulp to the dosa batter .
  3. Mix well .
  4. Adjust the consistency . If required add little water for the perfect dosa batter consistency .
  5. Add salt .
  6. Add cinnamon powder.
  7. Add 1 teaspoon ghee to the batter .
  8. Heat a tawa .
  9. Pour 1/2 ladle of batter on the hot tawa .
  10. Spread into medium sized dosas .
  11. Smear little ghee .
  12. Cook both the sides of the dosas in medium heat .
  13. Once the edges of the dosas turn golden brown , brown spots appear on the dosas .
  14. It’s ready to be shifted to the plate .
  15. Repeat the process for the rest of the dosas .
  16. Squeeze generous ghee once the dosa turns cool.
  17. Soak dosa in honey for a minute .
  18. Serve .
