Ingredients to make Imli kae phool

  • One cup toor daal
  • 200 gms tamarind flowers
  • Three onions finely chopped
  • oil
  • jeera
  • Rai
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tap garam masala
  • 1 tsp green chilli paste
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • salt

How to make Imli kae phool

  1. FIRSTLY BOIL ONE CUP OF TOOR DAL(PIGEON EYES DAAL) IN OPEN PAN
  2. SEE THAT DAAL IS SEMI COOKED..JUST PRESS THE DAAL N CHECK...IF ITS COOKED PROPERLY.
  3. DRAIN THE EXTRA WATER FROM DAAL N KEEP ASIDE.
  4. WASH THE FLOWERS OF TAMARIND PROPERLY TWICE WITH CLEAN WATER .
  5. NOW BOIL THE FLOWERS FOR TWO MINUTES
  6. SEE THAT THE COLOUR OF FLOWERS CHANGE FROM GREEN TO RED
  7. DRAIN ALL THE WATER FROM THE FLOWERS
  8. WASH THE FLOWERS IN COLD WATER TWICE TO REMOVE EXTRA SOURNESS FROM IT
  9. HEAT A PAN...ADD ONE TSP RAI,ONE TSP JEERA AND THREE FINELY CHOPPED ONION...
  10. FRY IT TILL ONION TURNS BROWN IN COLOUR..
  11. ADD ONE TSP GREEN CHILLI PASTE,ONE TSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  12. SAUTE FOR FEW MIN...
  13. ADD 2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER,1TSP HALDI POWDER N SAUTE FOR FEW MINUTES..
  14. ADD 1/4 TSP GARAM MASALA , HALF COOKED DAAL,BOILED TAMARIND FLOWERS
  15. ADD SALT N COOK FOR FEW MIN.SERVE IT WITH CHAPATIS,RICE.ETC.. N BEAT THE SUMMER HEAT N MANY DISEASES
