ABOUT Paneer Nuggets RECIPE

Paneer Nuggets are basically a paneer based snack which is either battered or breaded then deep fried in cooking oil.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. PANEER-200GM
  2. Refined Flour -2tbsp
  3. Corn flour -1/4 cup
  4. Bread Crumbs -1cup
  5. Red Chilli Powder -1-2tbsp
  6. Black Pepper Crushed -1tbsp
  7. ginger-garlic paste-1tbsp
  8. Coriander leaves finely chopped -2tbsp
  9. Lemon juice -1tbsp
  10. Cooking oil for deep frying
  11. Salt to taste


  1. Firstly, in a large mixing bowl, take 1tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tbsp crushed pepper, 2tbsp coriander leaves, 1 tbsp of lemon juice and salt to taste.
  2. Mix it well to form a paste. Cut the paneer in any shape( i cut it into rectangle form). Coat the prepared paste to paneer, cover it and allow it to marinate in refrigerator for minimum 20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile prepare a batter by mixing 1/4 cup corn flour, 2tbsp refined flour, 1/2tbsp pepper, salt and 1/2 cup of water.Prepare the batter lumps free and it should be flowing consistency batter.
  4. Dip the marinated paneer into the batter and coat it well. Take bread crumbs, add 1/2tbsp of red chilli powder and salt into it. Then coat the batter coated paneer with bread crumbs covering all the sides and keep it in refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  5. Take a kadhai, add oil, heat it and deep fry the paneer nuggets in hot oil. Fry on medium flame, stirring occasionally till it turns golden brown. Serve it with green chutney or tomato sauce.
