ABOUT Mishti Doi with Blueberry RECIPE

They have lots of dishes which I still have to try, but this is a very famous sweet yogurt preparation which is so easy to make and relish. I am always a fan of this dish and while making this I wanted to give it a little twist so I added blueberry puree, you can add any berries or just make it plain with a dash of cardamom and you will be in heaven.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 can evaporated milk
  2. 1 cup brown sugar/condensed milk
  3. 1 cup or 230 ml yogurt (fairly thick curd)
  4. 1/4 cup blueberry puree (optional)

Instructions

  1. Put everything in a microwave bowl and mix it nicely.
  2. Then put it in the microwave for 1 minute, take it out at 30 seconds and mix it. Then put it again for 30 minutes.
  3. After this time, take it out and let it come to room temperature. Then put it in the fridge.
  4. Take it out after 2-3 hours, or best overnight and enjoy this sweet dish.
