Custard Cake

Ingredients to make Custard Cake

  • 2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milkmaid
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 4 tbsp custard powder
  • 1 pinch yellow food colour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

How to make Custard Cake

  1. In a mixing bowl, add maida, custard, baking soda and sieve it twice to mix uniformly.
  2. In another bowl mix butter and sugar together. Add yogurt, vanilla essence, baking powder and keep aside for 2 minutes.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients to form a smooth batter.
  4. Grease a cake tin, pour in the batter and bake in an oven for 40 to 45 minutes baking at 150 to 180 degree centigrade.

My Tip:

All ingredients must on room temperature.

Tried d recipe it was yummy... I cut the cake in slice and baked it again it turned out like biscotti,every one in my family enjoyed it.
