I have learnt this delicious recipe from my Mom. Whenever I make this I miss her so much. This is all time favourite sweet of children to elderly people.

Pineapple Sheera.

Ingredients to make Pineapple Sheera.

  • 1/2 Cup Rawa or Suji
  • 1/2 Cup + 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 Cup pineapple puree
  • 1/4 Cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 Teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon saffron strands
  • 3 Tablespoons ghee
  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped nuts
  • 1 Cup Hot water

How to make Pineapple Sheera.

  1. Cut the pineapple into small pieces.
  2. Make 1/4 cup puree from this chopped pineapple and keep 1/4 cup pineapple aside.
  3. Mix puree, chunks and 1 Tablespoon sugar and keep it in microwave for 3 minutes and stir it in between.
  4. In a pan heat ghee and add suji in it and roast it till it becomes golden brown.
  5. Then add hot water and cook until the water is absorbed.
  6. Add sugar, Pineapple puree and chunks
  7. Add cardamom powder and saffron strands.
  8. Add dry fruits and cook on low heat with a cover on it.
  9. Now your pineapple sheera is ready to serve.
  10. Relish this delicious dish and let me know whether you like it.

My Tip:

You can use unsalted butter instead of ghee.
