A lipsmacking, my all time favorite street food.

Kothu Parota/Chapathi

Ingredients to make Kothu Parota/Chapathi

  • Chaoathi or Parotta 4 Nos.
  • Veg or Non Veg Salna 1 1/2 cup
  • egg 5 Nos.
  • Chopped onion 2 Nos.
  • Chopped tomato 1 No.
  • green chilly 5 Nos.
  • curry leaf 3 Twigs
  • coriander leaf To garnish
  • fennel seeds 1 spoon
  • oil 3 spoons

How to make Kothu Parota/Chapathi

  1. Maje chaoathi or parota into very tiny pieces. Let it sit for a while.
  2. Heat 3 spoons of oil in a pan.
  3. Once done, add fennel seeds abd 3/4th amount of chopped onion. Saute well.
  4. Add green chilly and saute again.
  5. Add chopped tomato, when its partially cooked, add eggs.
  6. Mix egg well with the onion mixture and add salt.
  7. When egg is partially cooked, add chapathi or Parota pieces, mix well until egg coats it.
  8. Let it be in medium flame for 7 to 10 mins. Keep stirring in between.
  9. After 10 mins, add remaining chopped onion and curry leaf which gives aromatic smell to the dis. Saute again 5 mins.
  10. Before serving and as a final touch, add salna and give a quick stir and Serve hot.

My Tip:

Add pepper powder you need.
