Punjabi vadi pyaz k chawal

Ingredients to make Punjabi vadi pyaz k chawal

  • 1glass basmati rice
  • 2 onions
  • 2tsp ginger julians
  • 1/4tsp cumin seeds.
  • salt
  • 1/4tsp turmeric powder.
  • 1piece.dalchini
  • 1/4tsp black pepper.

How to make Punjabi vadi pyaz k chawal

  1. Soak d rice for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a cooker
  3. Fry d vadi n keep aside.
  4. Add cumin seeds
  5. Now add onions lengthwise chopped.
  6. Add ginger julians
  7. Now add vadi.
  8. Put salt.black pepper n turmeric powder.
  9. Now add rice n.1.glass water.
  10. Stir well.
  11. Cook till 1 whistle.
  12. Open & serve hot with curd or raita.

My Tip:

If vadi is spicy avoid black pepper.
