About Aloo vada or batata vada Recipe

Aloo vada is spicy snacks which filled with potato n cover with chickpeas paste ,its crunchy crispy in taste.

Ingredients to make Aloo vada or batata vada

  • Boiled potatoes 2-3
  • chickpeas flour 1/2cup
  • Corn flour 1spoon
  • Green chilli 2-3
  • salt 1tbsp
  • dhania n amchur powder 1tsp
  • Garam masala 1tsp
  • Crushed ginger garlic 1tsp
  • fennel seeds 1tsp
  • Chopped onion 1
  • turmeric powder 1tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 TSP
  • oil for deep frying

How to make Aloo vada or batata vada

  1. Take a pan cut potato in cube let it boil n cool completely.
  2. Now mash potatoes n keep aside.
  3. Now take bowl add chickpeas flour,corn flour,salt,garam masala, turmeric n chilli powder.
  4. Now add water n make batter like pakoda n keep aside for 10min.
  5. Meanwhile take a pan put 1spoon oil let it heat.
  6. Now add fennel seeds, green chilli n onion saute for 2 min.
  7. Add crushed ginger garlic,n all dry masala which mentioned above except salt.
  8. Now add mashed potatoes n saute for 3-4min.
  9. Let it mixture cool then add salt n make small portion ball.
  10. Dip into chickpeas paste n deep fry in oil.
  11. Ur crunchy crispy vada is ready.

My Tip:

Try vada with amchur chutney it goes super tasty. N instead of cornflour u can use rice flour also.
