This was my favourite after school snacks my Mom used to make for me and I used to prepare for my daughter.

Rice flour, Corn flour, Gram flour and Soya flour Chilla by adding Onion, Carrot and Spinach.

Ingredients to make Rice flour, Corn flour, Gram flour and Soya flour Chilla by adding Onion, Carrot and Spinach.

  • Rice flour 3/4 cup
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Soya flour 2 tbsp
  • Gram flour 3/4 cup
  • spinach washed and chopped fine 3/4 cup
  • carrot grated 1/2 cup
  • onion grated / chopped fine 1 big
  • curd 2 tbsp
  • ginger grated 1/2 tsp
  • garlic crushed 1 tsp
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Ajwain 1/2 tsp
  • sesame seeds 1 tsp
  • coriander leaves chopped 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • oil for shallow fry.
  • sugar 1 tbsp

How to make Rice flour, Corn flour, Gram flour and Soya flour Chilla by adding Onion, Carrot and Spinach.

  1. Mix all the flours in a bowl.
  2. Add vegetables and all masala mentioned.above.
  3. Add curd too. Mix well to form a batter.
  4. Heat 1 tbsp oil and add to the batter. Adjust salt and masala to your taste.
  5. Heat a non-stick griddle. Spread little oil.
  6. Spread a big spoon full of batter. Flip over as one side is cooked.
  7. Cook both sides well.
  8. Serve with pickle, Chunda or chutney.
