Brinjal Masala

Ingredients to make Brinjal Masala

  • Baby brinjal...300gm
  • Chopped onion...1
  • onion_greenchilli_ginger_garlic_dry red chilli paste...3tspn
  • Curd_fresh malai paste...2tspn
  • Poppy seeds_peanuts_coconut mixture....4tsp
  • turmeric powder...2tspn
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder...2tspn
  • red chilli powder ...1tspn
  • Garam masala...1tspn
  • cumin powder...1/2tspn
  • coriander leaves...3tsp

How to make Brinjal Masala

  1. Dry roast of 2 tspn each peanuts,poppy seeds & fresh coconut.
  2. Mix 1tspn each sugar & turmeric powder in it.
  3. Blend it & make a mixture of it.
  4. Wash & cut the brinjal & stuff it with the mixture.
  5. Heat oil, add the stuffed brinjal , cover it & cook it for sometime.
  6. Take out the cooked brinjal & add chopped onion in oil.
  7. Add onion_greenchilli_ginger garlic_dry red chilli paste.Mix it well.
  8. Add curd_fresh malai paste.
  9. Add stuffed brinjal & 2cup of hot water.Let it cook for 10 minutes.
  10. After that add garam masala, coriander leaves.Adjust salt & gravy.
  11. Its ready now.Serve it with butter roti or parantha.
