Ingredients to make Kashmiri dum aloo

  • potatoes 6 boiled
  • curd 1 cup
  • red chilli powder 2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 2 tsp
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Amchoor powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • coriander leaves 1 tbsp chopped
  • bay leaves 2-3
  • cinnamon stick 2

How to make Kashmiri dum aloo

  1. HEAT OIL CRACKLE CUMIN SEEDS.ADD BAY LEAVES, CINNAMON STICK IN IT AND LET IT CRACKLE
  2. PREPARE A MIX OF RED CHILLI POWDER,TURMERIC POWDER, CORIANDER POWDER ,AMCHOOR POWDER,GARAM MASALA WITH LITTLE WATER.ADD IT TO KADAI.
  3. WITH THE HELP OF FORK PRICK POTATOES
  4. FRY THESE POTATOES IN HOT OIL
  5. ADD WATER IN THE KADAI AND WHEN IT STARTS BOILING PUT POTATOES IN IT
  6. NOW ADD BEATEN CURD IN IT AND LET IT COOK FOR SOME TIME
