Ingredients to make Aam papad (amavat)

  • Mangoes 4 medium size
  • sugar 4-5 tbsp
  • salt 1tsp
  • Chaat masala 1tsp

How to make Aam papad (amavat)

  1. TAKE 4 MEDIUM SIZE MANGOES
  2. PEEL THE SKIN NEATLY
  3. DICE THE MANGOES IN SMALL AND MEDIUM PIECES
  4. ADD 4-5 TBSP SUGAR, 1TSP SALT,1TSP OF CHAAT MASALA
  5. GRIND IT IN A SMOOTH PASTE
  6. NOW TAKE A PAN POUR THE PASTE IN IT AND FRY IT FOR 5MIN TO 10MIN ON MEDIUM FLAME
  7. REMOVE IT FROM THE FLAME WHEN PASTE BECOME THICK AND CHANGE COLOUR
  8. KEEP IT IN SUN FOR 2-3 DAYS TO DRY
  9. CUT IT IN YOUR DESIRED SHAPE
  10. ENJOY WITH CHATPTA LEMON SALT MASALA
